News & Updates

Lately, most of my creative energy has been focused on producing and marketing Ploujét, my latest short film. It’s been an exciting (and at times chaotic) journey — from filming on the beautiful Shadow Mountain Reservoir in Colorado to sharing the finished project with audiences around the world. Ploujét has already been selected for festivals including the Croatian International Film Festival and the Cannes Indie Shorts Festival, and there’s still more to come. I can’t wait to see where this project goes next!

New news!  Officially selected for the Ojai Film Festival in November! This is my first time going to Ojai and have only heard great things. Can’t wait!

At the end of September we are heading to California to attend the Catalina Film Festival where I will be pitching at the Lion’s Den: A Live Pitch Panel!

We just attended the 3rd Winter Park Film Festival for PLOUJÉT! Shout out to the winner of the Narrative Short DOGGONE written and directed by the very talented Emelie Claxton!

PLOUJÉT! It’s been an exciting (and at times chaotic) journey — from filming on Shadow Mountain Reservoir in Colorado to sharing the finished project with audiences around the world, through such wonderful festivals like the Woods Hole Film Festival, Croatian International Film Festival, Venice Shorts Winter Park Film Festival, Catalina Film Festival and now Ojai Film Festival in November. So excited to see where this project goes as we continue on the festival circuit!

Recently at Woods Hole, PLOUJÉT was voted Second Runner Up in the Dramatic Shorts category! It was such an amazing honor to have participated in this festival and I’m so grateful for their consideration.

We were also selected for the Winter Park Film Festival which just wrapped up on September 8th. It was very special to participate in this festival which was near where we shot PLOUJÉT and is a resort we’ve been skiing at since I was a kid.

We’ve just been accepted to the Catalina Film Festival where there is also an opportunity to participate in the Lion’s Den: A Live Pitch Panel. It is an exciting, fast-paced environment where each filmmaker has five minutes to pitch their project. If the ‘lions’ like your pitch they offer funding or representation on the spot. So fingers crossed!

And next up in November is the Ojai Film Festival. It’s been very exciting to continue this journey now to the West Coast!

Thanks for stopping by!
