About Kat

Kat Svaldi is a screenwriter based in Denver, Colorado. She attended the University of Colorado Boulder and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing. She earned her MA in Dramatic Writing at the University of Denver in 2020.

Originally starting out in fiction, Kat published several short stories until eventually finding her passion for screenwriting. She’s written both features and pilots and has received multiple awards for both her feature screenplay GOZZY BOYS and her short screenplay PLOUJÉT.

She then developed PLOUJÉT into a short film in June of 2024 and continues to create in both screenwriting and fiction.
